Our client is a fast-growing FMCG start-up based at a great new office in Paddington,

Due to growth they have a need for proactive and dynamic Finance and Office Assistant, working in a small team the main duties of the role will be transactional accounting, support the Finance Manager. Alongside that the role will also be responsible for basic office support and answering the phone.

You might have already gained some finance experience and you are looking for a new challenge or you may already have gained similar exposure within an SME environment and this type of role really appeals to you.

The business have a fast paced and hardworking environment and you need to be flexible within the responsibilities you hold, it will keep you busy and you will gain some great all-round finance experience along the way.


Reporting to the Finance Manager the main duties will include:
Accounts Receivable using Navision
Credit Control and cash allocation
Matching, batching and coding Accounts Payable invoices using Navision
PO management
Preparation of weekly payment runs for the Finance Manager
Processing of staff expenses
Petty Cash management
Credit Card reconciliation
Assisting with month end reporting for the Finance Manager

Office duties

Answering phone
Post and Stationery management


The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, team player. Company specific training will be provided but you must be a self-starter who can work independently.

Due to the nature of the role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience within both Purchase/Payable
and Sales/Receivable ledger, foreign exchange transactions would be beneficial.

There will be progression through finance once you have earned your stripes and proven capabilities, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy and diverse job role.
