As Kitchen Supervisor / Head Chef they will be looking for you to share your knowledge and experience. Building an engaging team of chefs, as well as leading by example to deliver the menu to the highest standards at all times.
You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and be responsible for ensuring the kitchen operates within its agreed budgets and that food hygiene and health and safety compliance is maintained at all times.
Whilst it can get a little hot in the kitchen, it is very rare that you will be required to work split shifts and most of their kitchens are closed by 10pm!
The role is 40 hours per week in 8 hour shifts (either 7am – 3pm, 2pm – 10pm or maybe 10am – 6pm).
You should thrive when under pressure and have a positive attitude, oodles of enthusiasm and be prepared to be hands on and to get stuck in with the team.
You will ideally have previous experience of working in a supervisory role within a branded kitchen.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced Sous chef to make the step up to Head Chef and demonstrate their ability to lead a team of chefs.
Flexible to work weekends on a rota basis.
