Health & Safety Officer - Permament - Fareham - £30,000 per annum
Our client is seeking a Health & Safety Officer for their company based in Fareham. They are a privately owned mechanical and electrical company who provide services to the building industry. You will be working from a modern and bespoke built office with the occasional visits to building sites in the area.
Main Responsibilties
- Produce written reports of inspections and ensure that all requirements and recommendations are followed up
- Provide practical and competent health and safety advice and assistance as required
- Carry out risk assessments and risk management plans
- Develop and deliver a variety of health and safety training programmes
- Investigate health and safety concerns ensuring all processes are implemented correctly
- Carry out health and safety inspections
- Deliver staff inductions, training and other programmes relating to health and safety
Experience and qualifications required:
- Must have NEBOSH
- Knowledge of all health and safety regulations
- IOSH membership at TEC IOSH membership level
- Experience carrying out health, safety and environmental inspections. Audit experience is essential
- Experience of training staff on legislations
- Experience in reporting incidents and accidents
