We are currently working with a client with a nation house building remit to help with their growing team in the Land Manager department, This roll can be based from either the Manchester or Crewe office depending on your location / preferences.

We are open minded to Candidates who are relatively new to the land management scene or candidates with more experience as long as you have some experience of working in this sector we would be interested in speaking to you.

This accountable for sourcing land and development opportunities to meet the organisation’s growth targets, including site acquisitions, the creation of new partnerships, joint ventures and other investment opportunities.

Identify, develop and implement growth opportunities including new strategic land and development purchases, partnership opportunities, investment led projects, place making and regeneration opportunities, and other significant projects, within the agreed framework of strategies, policies and procedures

Establish and maintain a network of connections with land agents, land owners, property professionals, funders, strategic partners, developers and house builders to identify, negotiate and agree a programme of projects, acquisitions and opportunities

Work with the Head of Land to appraise new opportunities against organisation growth criteria by considering options for tenure, mix, design, funding, use and partnership working

Monitor and report on agreed KPIs to ensure that the progress is made to the correct timescales

Negotiating partnership arrangements including joint ventures

Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, with an ability to challenge, support, influence and engage senior managers and customers across the organisation and also externally with key stakeholders

A demonstrable commitment to customer service
