REED Harrogate are recruiting for a company who have a global presence and are rapidly expanding which is why this role has come available! We are looking for someone to work within their merchandise team.
The position requires:
- Experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
- Be well organised with a good attention to detail.
- Polite telephone manner.
- Good communicator and happy to work in a small team.
- Ensure all orders are checked off, packed and dispatched accurately to customers.
- Use online booking systems for daily UK courier collections – DHL, UPS and UK Mail.
- Track shipments to make sure customers have received their goods on time.
- Gather quotes, book transport and process documentation to export goods to various countries.
- Checking off stock order, maintaining tidy and organised stock room.
- Daily e-mail contact with suppliers and customers.
- Answering the incoming telephone calls and dealing with UK and Overseas customers.
Experience within an administrative or merchandising position would be preferable at 1 year at least.
