Salary for this position is roughly up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience, but this is negotiable. The role will consider candidates on a part time basis of 4 days, as well as full time.
Purpose of Role:
To assist in the delivery of an effective and responsive HR service, through a proactive and co-ordinated schedule of HR activities which reflect the HR Resource strategy and frame work of the business.
• Recruitment and Selection
• Ensuring any requirements for additional staff are approved
• Developing recruitment processes and procedures from initiation to completion.
• Discussing and arranging selection methods with line managers.
• Arranging and attending interviews, taking notes.
• Issuing offer letters and arranging Contracts of Employment.
• Implementing and reviewing Performance Review procedures
• Analysing action points for line managers and discussing how to meet development needs.
• Co-ordinating training and development activities
• Continuous reviewal of an effective induction process for all new employees, ensuring there is ongoing training and development provided.
• Identifying training and development needs associated with new and existing policy and procedures.
• Reviewing employee benefits
• Acting as a central communications contact for managers and staff on HR issues.
• Providing advice and guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Ideal candidate must be CIPD qualified or studying towards.
