Reed Business Support is currently working alongside a training provider based in Middlesbrough who is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to join the team!

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Retain and grow existing revenue streams across all areas of the group, within a defined UK & International territory.
• Meet all sales targets across all areas of the group, selling all of the companies offerings
• Maximise sales through understanding the needs of our customers/prospects and matching it to the services that we can provide utilising the skills and knowledge of colleagues and partners where necessary
• Support other departments wherever necessary to ensure that our customers receive the best customer experience possible
• Build/Grow pipeline and maximise every sales opportunity
• Manage the needs of our customers and the sales process to completion, taking ownership of customers’ business issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
• Use CRM to manage sales opportunities as required by the management team and to report on progress and successes.
• Help to define and implement marketing/sales campaigns
• Close sales and process all contracts etc
• Build close relationships with customers and staff
• Attend sales meetings and provide timely and accurate reports
• Contribute to the development of sales procedures
• Develop high quality business proposals in order to meet sales targets
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as determined by your line manager/director as appropriate to the general character of the post or level of the responsibility entailed
• Ability to travel Internationally when required (c 30% travel).



Ideal Person: 

• Knowledge of Industry and Training
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management expertise
• Ability to undertake research in new and developing markets
• Knowledge of relevant funding streams
• Thorough understanding and experience of all products and services (apprenticeships, training, consultancy, assessment and verification)
• Strong sales background essential with previous experience and proven success in achieving sales targets
• Must possess excellent customer’s relations and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to develop and deliver sales.
